Rotary International
Gina Alvis Watts has been proud to be an active member of
the Pryor Rotary Club since 2002. On the International project level, a few
of the projects Gina continues to support are clean drinking wells in
Nicaragua, Shoes for Orphans, Eye Glass projects , as well as donating her
time in the Tulsa Medical Supply Network which sends medical supplies to
third world countries in need.
On a local level, some of the areas Gina has contributed to has been the
distribution of dictionary and thesaurus books each year to all of the
elementary schools in the Mayes County Area, contributing time with the
improvements to the Centennial Park Gazebo, and reading for the Jefferson
Elementary students during the different themed reading weeks. Bob and Jo
Realty has supported the Rotary projects because we recognize the value and
importance in giving back to our community. With Rotary, Bob and Jo Realty
is helping make a difference one project at a time.
The objectives of Rotary are:
#1 The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service.
#2 High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of
the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each
Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society.
#3 The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal,
business, and community life.
The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through
a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal
of service.
